Screenshots From All of Uncadonego's Thief Fan Missions (Don Adam)

What is there about Thief?

There are many PC games that have surpassed Thief in physics engines and graphics. Thief is a very old game by computer game standards, but it still has many fans and a huge fan mission database. For many people, Thief has never been matched by any other computer game. Personally, I suspect it will always remain my favourite game...

Here are various screenshots from all of my missions.

ENJOY!

I have listed the missions in the order in which they were released.

The small screenshots will link to 640X480 screenshots

There are quicklinks to each mission, so go ahead and use them...

A Thief Nonetheless - (Original release date-2003.03.15) Released first, but not truly my first mission. I was very busy working on Two Fathers, and writing, voice acting, and beta-testing "Secret Weapon" for Thorin, but I wanted to make a contest release for the experience before releasing Two Fathers. It was kind of pretty, and a bit of fun, but my heart was in Two Fathers at the time.
Two Fathers - (Original release date-2003.03.25) Truly my first mission, it just didn't make it out first. I quickly worked out ATN for the contest. I really loved this mission when I was working on it. I wanted my first mission to not appear unpolished. Now I see where I could have made improvements, but it was time to release it.
Mixed Messages - (Original release date-2003.10.31) Thorin Oakenshield and I worked on this one together. I had written Secret Weapon and Karras' Diary for Thorin, and done the voice acting for them. I thought Thorin would like a mission I was working on as a take off point for a new mission. He eventually got frustrated with it, and I took over. It was my baby again. I built most of the city, Thorin built most of the woods, although I re-built everything. It was a lot of work getting the problems fixed, but once it was out people seemed to truly enjoy it.
Just Take A Look - (Original release date-2003.12.28) I just started by making one room... and kept going. I kept sending peeks to Nightwalker, and she told me I should finish it and release it. I was just trying to polish my "eye candy" skills, but managed to work a story into it. Secrets and scenery abound in this little mission.
The Time That Has Passed - (Original release date-2005.01.27)The continuation of Two Fathers where Garrett learns more information from the Keepers. I made the city part and the mansion part, but then it was too complex for Dromed to handle. I had to re-think the city part, as well as completely re-build it. I built the mansion from actual house plans, and worked on a real city feel for the other half. The part that didn't work out ended up being released as Chain of Events.
Chain Of Events - (Original release date-2005.06.21) Made in tribute to the Mixed Messages code crackers. This small mission was so detailed that it couldn't be released with the mansion part from TTTHP. I worked out certain Dromed problems and released it as its own mission. All of the players who cracked a secret code in Mixed Messages ended up as members of a gang in this mission, using their TTLG nicknames.
Thieves' Highway - (Original release date-2005.10.31) Rooftop mission....LOTP style. You must stay well above street level, and use jumping and rope arrows to get around and steal. Most of the time you are about 50 to 75 feet above ground. A tribute mission for those who wax nostalgic for another LOTP type mission. For the most part very well received by those who love rooftops. You revisit a character from "A Thief Nonetheless" tonight.
The Power Of Suggestion - (Original release date-2006.05.30) A city mission where everything is accessible from the sewers to the rooftops. Involves everything from ghosting to jumping puzzles and using rope arrows to find routes to where you need to go. The story involves your kidnap and escape, and the discovery of who kidnapped you and why. Reactions to this mission have ranged from "too hard" and "I'm lost", to "fantastic" and "outstanding work".
